A Baroque sculptor’s studio built upwards
Bernini’s Workshop fits a complete sculptor’s studio into a tall, narrow Book Nook. A large, dynamic figure group occupies the centre, while the staircase, gallery and vaulted architecture lead the eye from the work area to the upper levels.
Busts, smaller figures, anatomical studies, books and tools show different stages of the creative process. The scene feels like a workshop where work continues, not a static museum display.
What makes Bernini’s Workshop stand out
A sculpture at the centre of the space: the large figure group crosses several visual planes and remains recognisable even between tall books. The staircase and gallery frame it without blocking the view.
From study to finished work: drawings, tools, models, busts and incomplete forms show how an idea develops into sculpture. The contrast between studies and finished pieces makes the workshop convincing.
Two levels filled with working detail: the bench, chair and materials occupy the lower floor; shelves, niches and gallery hold books and art objects above. The vertical arrangement adds depth without closing the view.
Warm LED light with touch control: a sensor on the top switches on the lighting from outside. The glow separates the pale sculptures from darker wood and stone and keeps the upper arches visible.
A precise project for experienced makers
Rated Level 4 – Difficult, the staircase, gallery, shelving and numerous small studies require a careful sequence, correct orientation and patience during placement.
The kit includes a detailed, illustrated guide in English. Most steps are explained through pictures, so the process remains understandable even if English is not your first language; the complex layout still rewards focused work.
Once complete, Bernini’s Workshop becomes a striking Book Nook for art lovers and admirers of historical interiors. The central sculpture draws attention from afar, while a complete two-level studio reveals itself at closer range.

Each kit comes with illustrated English instructions that rely mainly on pictures, so the sequence remains easy to follow even without strong English skills.
What else might I need for assembly?
Requirements vary by model. Check the Product Details for the battery type, adhesive or tools needed for your chosen kit. Suitable B-7000 adhesive is available in our shop; a compatible craft adhesive may also be available locally. Always follow the instructions and make sure any adhesive is suitable for the materials in the kit.
