Choshi no Shitamachi: life behind the counter of a tiny izakaya
Choshi no Shitamachi recreates a neighbourhood Japanese izakaya in miniature. The counter is crowded with dishes, bottles and tableware, while two stools wait outside for the next customers.
The scene continues deep into the open-front building. Pans, chopping boards, kitchen utensils, a fridge and a till fill the working area behind the counter. Paper lanterns, koinobori and autumn leaves frame the façade, and a Shiba Inu welcomes visitors at the entrance.
A small izakaya full of life
A counter that tells the story: plates, bowls, drinks and freshly prepared dishes create an instantly recognisable focal point, even from across the room.
A kitchen in full view: furniture and utensils extend to the back of the model, revealing the work behind the service as well as the inviting shopfront.
Japanese characters with personality: a tanuki, maneki-neko and Shiba Inu bring warmth and humour to the scene without distracting from its food and drink setting.
A lively neighbourhood façade: lanterns, signs, bottles and carp streamers turn the compact timber building into a vivid fragment of a Japanese street.
Warm LED light with touch control: the control on the side illuminates the counter, shelves and kitchen, making the smallest details easier to appreciate.

What else might I need for assembly?
Requirements vary by model. Check the Product Details for the battery type, adhesive or tools needed for your chosen kit. Suitable B-7000 adhesive is available in our shop; a compatible craft adhesive may also be available locally. Always follow the instructions and make sure any adhesive is suitable for the materials in the kit.
