Product Details
A wooden grand piano where keys and gears play together
Chord Movement is a wooden 3D puzzle shaped like an intricately decorated miniature grand piano. Dark wood, gold-coloured ornamentation and pierced side panels evoke a classical instrument, while the visible gears reveal the mechanism beneath the surface.
The completed model is designed to be interacted with. Each key is assembled separately and can be pressed, setting the internal mechanism in motion. An integrated musical function adds sound to the experience, bringing the keyboard, movement and music together in one compact display piece.
From the keyboard to the visible mechanism
Keys you can actually press: the light and dark keys are individual parts rather than a printed motif, making the keyboard the natural focus of the finished model.
Gears that remain on show: openwork side panels and the exposed interior let you follow the transmission. The mechanism you align during the build remains part of the design once the piano is complete.
Integrated musical function: sound adds another interactive layer to the miniature piano and complements the movement of its keys and gears.
Opening transparent lid: the decorated lid can be displayed open on its support, keeping the gears, musical motifs and layered construction visible from different angles.
An intermediate mechanical build
Rated Level 3 – Intermediate, Chord Movement suits makers with some previous experience as well as careful beginners ready to try a functional model. The keyboard, gear train and moving joints need to be assembled in the correct order and aligned precisely.
The kit includes a detailed, illustrated guide in English. Most of the process is explained through clear pictures, while the keys and gears reward an extra check of each component’s orientation before assembly.
Chord Movement is made for music lovers and mechanical-model enthusiasts who enjoy seeing how their creation works. With its lid open, the miniature grand piano becomes a distinctive display piece for a desk, music room or bookshelf.

What else might I need for assembly?
Requirements vary by model. Check the Product Details for the battery type, adhesive or tools needed for your chosen kit. Suitable B-7000 adhesive is available in our shop; a compatible craft adhesive may also be available locally. Always follow the instructions and make sure any adhesive is suitable for the materials in the kit.
