A closed grimoire that opens to reveal a blue portal
Minicity's Circle of Magic conceals its fantasy world inside a thick, strapped book with ornate corners and a circular window glowing blue. Open the hinged front cover and the grimoire reveals a vertical sanctuary built around a rune portal.
The model has two distinct display forms. A large engraved circle covers the inside of the front panel, while the fixed main body rises through two levels of columns and galleries around a crystal sphere, a dragon-like figure and a suspended rune symbol.
What makes Circle of Magic stand out
A front cover that genuinely opens: straps, clasps, decorative corners and visible hinges make the closed model look like an old grimoire. The front cover swings out to frame the interior scene without removing any parts.
Two complete display states: when closed, the illuminated circular window becomes the focal point. When open, the engraved inner disc creates a visual counterpart to the portal, crystal sphere and glowing symbol.
Magical architecture across two levels: columns, galleries and vertical passages give the compact interior the character of a hidden sanctuary rather than a single decorated room.
Bookmark-shaped touch control: the control projects above the book like a marker. One touch activates the blue light across the portal, sphere and front window without adding a conventional switch to the grimoire design.
An intermediate build with a moving front cover
Rated Level 3 – Intermediate, Circle of Magic suits makers with some previous experience. The hinged cover, columns at different heights, concentric rune circles and lighting path all reward careful alignment and regular checks during assembly.
The kit includes a detailed, illustrated guide in English. Most steps are explained through pictures, making them easy to follow even if English is not your first language. Take particular care with the position and orientation of the hinges, levels and electrical components.
