Morita-Ya: a tiny Japanese ramen bar after dark
Morita-Ya turns a neighbourhood ramen bar into an open-front Book Nook. Bowls of noodles, condiments and two tall stools wait at the counter, framed by blue noren curtains and a glowing red lantern.
Inside, a retro television, vertical menus, timber cabinets and rows of bottles extend the scene beyond the façade. A maneki-neko welcomes customers beside the counter, while another cat sleeps peacefully near an oversized bowl of ramen.
A ramen bar with a character of its own
An unmistakable food counter: ramen bowls, chopsticks, condiments and small side dishes make the purpose of the shop clear from the first glance.
A warmly nostalgic interior: the television, menus, timber furniture and bottles evoke the familiar character of a well-loved neighbourhood restaurant.
An opening front door: the left-hand panel swings out to reveal an extra seat and add another viewing angle to the miniature.
Two cats, two personalities: the maneki-neko by the counter and the sleeping cat bring warmth and a quiet note of humour to the food scene.
Warm LED light with touch control: the control on the roof illuminates the counter, signs and interior, drawing attention deeper into the restaurant.

Suitable B-7000 adhesive is available in our shop; a compatible craft adhesive may also be available locally.
