A science-fiction laboratory with a moving centre
The Eye of Old God by Cutebee presents a multi-level research station built around a strange eye surrounded by tentacles. Walkways, stairs, control panels and tiny figures give the scene the tension of a dark science-fiction film.
The technical architecture comes to life through two manual interactions: the large central eye can be rotated, while the access stairs slide out from the base. Each movement changes how the station is viewed.
What makes The Eye of Old God special?
A rotating eye at the centre: the compass-shaped control on the top moves the large eye. Turning it reveals new angles of the tentacles, support and observation platforms.
Sliding access stairs: a control beneath the base extends the front staircase to complete the entrance to the station, then retracts it into the plinth.
A laboratory arranged across several levels: windows, walkways and floors at different heights create a convincing facility. Figures and consoles provide a clear sense of scale around the mysterious specimen.
Touch-controlled lighting: the point on the top activates warm LED light, bringing out the depth, coloured cables and technical structures without losing the dark atmosphere.
An accessible build with manual mechanisms
The difficulty is ★★☆☆☆ – Level 2, Easy. The vertical structure provides a clear reference, while aligning the sliding guide and rotating centre adds variety to the project.
The kit includes a detailed, richly illustrated guide in English. Pictures guide most of the assembly, so the steps remain easy to follow without strong English skills.
