Butterfly Collection Room: a private natural history collection in miniature
Butterfly Collection Room evokes the study of an entomologist whose collection has grown across two richly furnished floors. Framed butterflies, specimen cabinets, open albums, books and research tools fill the room, surrounded by dark wood, ornamental details and warm light.
Large butterfly displays and a dedicated study table draw attention upstairs. Below, a sweeping staircase leads past cabinets, desks and objects gathered over many years, giving the scene the atmosphere of a small private natural history museum.
A collection made for close observation
Butterflies displayed across two floors: framed specimens, cabinets, albums and larger models create points of interest throughout the full height of the scene.
A sweeping staircase connects the composition: its curve guides the eye between the upper study and the desks, cupboards and displays below.
The character of a cabinet of curiosities: clocks, busts, old books, flowers and a delicate tea service make the room feel scholarly, personal and lived in.
Warm, touch-controlled LED lighting: several light points bring out the butterflies, cabinets and working areas and activate through the integrated touch control.
Dust protection included: the transparent protection helps keep the most delicate display pieces clean once the model is placed on a shelf.
