A Midsummer Night’s Dream as a miniature theatre
This miniature house brings Shakespeare's comedy to a small stage in lilac and gold. In the enchanted woodland, Titania reaches towards Bottom, transformed with a donkey's head, while fairies, butterflies and woodland animals watch among flowers and tall tree trunks.
The scenery is arranged in several layers. Each adds foliage, characters and depth before the eye reaches the warmly illuminated backdrop. The result is a theatrical diorama viewed from the front, as though the curtain has just risen.
What makes this scene special?
Shakespeare in three dimensions: Titania, Bottom and the woodland characters turn a recognisable moment from the comedy into a scene with real depth.
Details between the wings: a fairy holding a flower, dancing figures, a hidden rabbit, mushrooms, butterflies and an overturned jug bring the corners of the stage to life.
Warm LED lighting with touch control: the golden light behind the scenery highlights the silhouettes and separates the layered woodland sets.
How difficult is the build?
The difficulty is ★☆☆☆☆ – Level 1, Beginner. The clear theatre structure makes it an approachable first project, while the layered scenery still creates a satisfying sense of space.
The kit includes extensively illustrated instructions in English. Most steps are explained through clear pictures, making them easy to follow and complete without relying on lengthy written directions.
Once finished, the theatre can be protected by the included transparent front panel. It is an atmospheric project for admirers of Shakespeare, fairies and miniatures that continue telling their story even when the lights are off.

Suitable B-7000 adhesive is available in our shop; a compatible craft adhesive may also be available locally.
