A library beneath an observatory
Observatory is a wooden 3D puzzle that layers two worlds. A quiet library sits below behind tall Gothic arches; above it, an observation terrace holds a telescope, celestial globe and star chart beneath a colourful illuminated dome.
The circular tower is open around its entire structure and does not impose a single viewpoint. Walk around it and different combinations of shelves, desk, balustrades and astronomical instruments come into view. The finished model therefore looks especially effective in the centre of a shelf or desk.
From old books to the night sky
Two floors, one story: the study below represents knowledge already gathered. One level higher, attention turns to the sky, where the telescope, star chart and globe continue the investigation.
Designed to be viewed from every side: pointed arches and open balustrades keep both floors visible from any angle. The tower invites you to turn it slowly and discover a different composition with each view.
A dome that diffuses the light: semi-transparent panels combine ornamental lines with colours inspired by the firmament. LED lighting makes the upper floor the luminous centre while bringing warmth to the library below.
A miniature historical atmosphere: dark wood, bronze tones, classical sculptures, scrolls and flowers create a lived-in room. It feels like a place where someone genuinely reads, takes notes and observes.
An approachable introduction to detailed model making
Rated Level 1 – Beginner, Observatory is a rewarding first wooden 3D puzzle with plenty of detail. Its two clearly separated floors and repeated tower elements make the structure approachable, while the shelves, telescope and dome keep the precision work interesting.
The kit includes a detailed, illustrated guide in English. Picture-led instructions explain most steps clearly and make the build easy to follow.
Observatory is made for lovers of astronomy, libraries and historic architecture. Once complete, it remains compelling from every angle, both by day and when the illuminated dome gives the scene a gentle night-time glow.

What else might I need for assembly?
Requirements vary by model. Check the Product Details for the battery type, adhesive or tools needed for your chosen kit. Suitable B-7000 adhesive is available in our shop; a compatible craft adhesive may also be available locally. Always follow the instructions and make sure any adhesive is suitable for the materials in the kit.
