A steampunk observatory among books and planets
Interstellar Exploration builds a complete astronomical research centre across several levels. Midnight-blue walls, golden instruments and an arched roof frame celestial globes, telescopes, maps and worktables.
From the large armillary sphere below, the eye climbs past stairs, balconies and bookcases to the workshop above. Clocks, coloured crystals and decorative gears turn every wall into part of the same scientific fantasy.
What makes Interstellar Exploration special?
Astronomical instruments on several levels: telescopes, armillary spheres and small planets occupy different floors and point in different directions. The narrow structure feels like a complete observatory rather than a flat display.
A library built for research: full shelves, rolled maps, notebooks and books surround the instruments. Desks and chairs make it clear that this is a place for study and thought, not merely exhibition.
Steampunk in blue and gold: clocks, compasses, frames and abundant gear motifs give visual order to a richly detailed scene. The gears form part of the observatory's decorative language.
An integrated music box: the musical function adds a gentle soundtrack to the observatory and complements the atmosphere created by the lighting.
Warm LED lighting with touch control: separate points of light pick out instruments, stairs and work areas. The control at the front makes the lighting easy to operate and strengthens the contrast between gold details and deep blue walls.
How difficult is it to build?
Interstellar Exploration is rated ★★★☆☆ – Level 3, Intermediate. Its multi-storey architecture, balustrades, bookcases, instruments and gear motifs call for attention and some previous model-building experience.
The kit includes a detailed illustrated guide in English. Most of the process is explained through pictures, making each step straightforward to follow and complete.

Suitable B-7000 adhesive is available in our shop; a compatible craft adhesive may also be available locally.
