booknook.de is a specialist shop for Book Nooks, miniature houses and creative DIY kits. We select models for people who enjoy fine details: crafters, book lovers, thoughtful gift-givers and anyone who wants to bring something personal into their home.

Our story

The idea behind booknook.de began with a simple observation: many DIY miniature kits look beautiful at first glance, but not every model is equally satisfying to build, rich in detail or rewarding once displayed on a shelf.

We therefore wanted to create a shop that does more than offer the largest possible number of kits. We wanted to make a better selection — a place where it is easier to find a model that genuinely suits you, whether it is your first Book Nook, a more ambitious build or a gift for someone who appreciates unusual things.

We consider the design, atmosphere, feel of the materials, lighting and overall building experience. A good Book Nook should be more than decorative: it should be enjoyable to assemble and reveal a world of its own once it reaches the shelf.

Reliable details matter when choosing a DIY kit. We therefore aim to provide clear product pages covering dimensions, accessories, lighting, assembly and difficulty wherever these are relevant to the particular model.

Support when it matters:
A kit contains many small pieces. If you have a question while building, a part is missing or something was damaged in transit, you do not have to deal with it alone. Email service@booknook.de. Including your order number and, where possible, a photo or short video will help us review the issue quickly and find the right solution.

More confidence when buying:
In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary 60-day return period from the date you receive your order. This gives you more time to decide whether the kit is right for you.

Why Book Nooks?

A Book Nook is more than decoration. It is a small building project, a peaceful evening at the table and a piece of imagination between two books. An illuminated alleyway, a bookshop, a greenhouse, a railway carriage or a hidden door — every model creates its own atmosphere.
