Wisdom Rings Book Repository turns a library into a panoramic two-storey miniature. At the centre, a tree-shaped bookcase grows from the circular base; above, a green canopy brings a note of nature among the books on the gallery.
Two curved staircases connect the floors without hiding the shelves behind them. The result is a freestanding reading room with a broad, semicircular view, designed to be explored both straight on and in perspective.
A library with architecture of its own
A semicircular composition: tall shelves, the upper gallery and patterned floor wrap around the scene and make full use of its depth.
A central tree and twin staircases: the branching bookcase creates an unmistakable focal point, while the symmetrical stairs frame the collection.
Opening panoramic doors: two curved transparent doors swing open on visible hinges. Closed, they help protect the library from dust; open, they bring every shelf and collected object into clearer view.
Warm touch-controlled LED lighting: the light enriches the dark timber, staircases, gallery and small objects throughout the room.
