Darkness Common Room: a Gothic study for young wizards
Darkness Common Room opens a hidden two-storey retreat between the books. Pointed arches, stone walls and green-lit windows frame a place where books, potions and magical instruments belong to everyday life.
Upstairs, a figure studies among balustrades, cabinets and enchanted symbols. Below, a desk covered with maps, books and bottles waits beside the staircase and a passage that appears to lead deeper into the darkness.
A magical refuge across two levels
A clear vertical perspective: the gallery, staircase and lower study organise the scene and create several distinct areas to explore.
A cabinet filled with potions: colourful bottles, books, an hourglass and collected objects turn the ornate cupboard into the room’s secret archive.
A convincing magical study: maps, an open book, crystal ball, cauldron and tools prepare the workspace for experiments away from curious eyes.
An illustrated front panel that opens: visible hinges allow the decorated cover to swing open and reveal the room; closed, it gives the model the appearance of an ornate fantasy book.
Touch-controlled LED lighting: warm light and green accents bring out the windows, desks and magical objects and activate with a touch.
A detailed first project
The difficulty is ★☆☆☆☆ – Level 1, Beginner. Clearly defined areas make the build easy to organise, while the cabinet, desk and smaller accessories add variety without demanding advanced experience.
The kit includes a detailed, extensively illustrated guide in English. Most steps are explained through clear pictures and remain easy to follow without relying on lengthy written instructions.
Once complete, Darkness Common Room becomes an atmospheric display for admirers of magic schools, Gothic interiors and secret studies.

Suitable B-7000 adhesive is available in our shop; a compatible craft adhesive may also be available locally.
